BRIGGS BEFORE AND BEYOND BROWN
BRIGGS BEFORE AND BEYOND BROWN celebrates the illustrious history, legacy and heritage of the Briggs v. Elliott case; the Summerton, South Carolina petition that was first in the nation to outlaw segregation in public education.
In view of the Brown v. Board of Education 70th anniversary, May 17, 2024, this site will function as a clearing house to celebrate the significance of the first of the five cases; Briggs.
